Timber-framed Ashore in the middle of Hay-on-Wye. The ideal place to slow things down and focus on great work whilst the world continues on outside.
It’s a super easy place to live, as well as work. Four floors. Two bedrooms. Two bathrooms. Two workspaces. Plus some amazing views of the town of Hay.
Extremely well-equipped kitchen, with every cooking utensil you could imagine. Also has a brilliant lower ground floor study, perfect for quiet reading.
It's a two bedroom Ashore, but if you want a team trip, then you can team it with Studio #002 nearby, for teams of up to four.
Either drive or get the train to Hereford. The taxi from the station takes 30 minutes. It's worth the trip.
Pet-friendly
Hay-on-Wye, used-bookshop capital of the world, Paul Graham’s favourite town in the UK, and right in the middle of the Black Mountains.
You’ll be sixty seconds away from Richard Booth’s - probably the most famous of Hay’s bookshops. We also recommend Hay Cinema Bookshop for the real deep cuts.
There’s everything you could ever want to fuel your work. The Bean Box opens early down by the river for coffee. Hay Deli is just up the road.
Hay is home to some great restaurants and pubs - including Michelin green starred Chapters. Plus every Thursday an amazing market pops up, literally outside your front door.
The walks are - as you’d expect - brilliant. Early in the morning there’s a great riverside circuit, or you can go big and head up to Hay Bluff.
