The Need to Know

The Need to Know

? ?

Old Wool Merchant’s manor in the centre of Painswick, one of the great towns of the South Cotswolds. Now the ideal space to get together, focus, and build.

? ?

Nine en-suite rooms and seven living spaces set around an internal courtyard at the core of the Ashore, along with a garden and heated swimming pool.

? ?

Super well-equipped kitchen: four ovens; two dishwashers; and a wine fridge. Everything’s Miele. Full catering service available upon request.

? ?

Drive, or get the train from London to Stroud (it takes around two hours). Taxi from the station takes about 10 minutes.

? ?

For any guests with mobility issues, there’s also the option of a bedroom on the ground floor.

? ?

**Pet friendly. **

The Location

? ?

Painswick, Gloucestershire. Everything you’d imagine a Cotswolds village to be. A town built on wool, from an age when a yard of wool was as valuable as a Nvidia GPU.

? ?

Home to some great restaurants and pubs: the Painswick and the Falcon are our favourites.

? ?

Some great places nearby to find inspiration: there’s the rococo gardens in the town itself; or longer walks through the Five Valleys, or to Painswick Beacon.

? ?

Having said that - you probably don’t need to stray too far. Experiences, including in-house yoga, available on request.
