Artist-designed cottage in a picturesque village near Stroud. Incredible views out across the Woodchester Valley, with countryside walks to match.
With three bedrooms and a great communal space downstairs. Individual setup provided as well,if you need to step away for a moment to take that call.
Brilliant kitchen, including Chemex drip coffee maker. Either get food delivered to the house, or pick it up from one of the supermarkets in nearby Stroud.
Drive, or get the train from Paddington (takes around 90 minutes). About a ten minute taxi ride from Stroud station.
Pet-friendly.
Amberley, a tiny village on the outskirts of the achingly cool Stroud. Featuring two great pubs a short walk away: The Black Horse, and the Amberley Inn.
Prepare to be surrounded by nature. It’s not uncommon to find cows from nearby Michinhampton wandering into town.
There are some great walks straight out the door. The Rodborough Common circular is a particular Ashore favourite.
For inspiration, pop into Stroud for half a day: a great farmers market, with some beautiful shops and restaurants in town.
