Either drive, or take a 20-minute taxi from Brighton train station: the fastest train from Central London takes 1hr(via Blackfriars).

For trips nearby, you’ve got historic Lewes with its 100-year-old castle, Brighton for a quick explore, or some National Trust big-hitters (Sissinghurst Castle is our favourite) nearby.
Somehow, there’s a Starbucks about a five minutes walk away (we’re not joking).
