The Need to Know

The Need to Know

? ?

Georgian on the outside, contemporary on the inside - this is a great space for leadership teams to get together and solve the biggest challenges.

? ?

Three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a large garden, private orchard, and some brilliant communal spaces (surrounded by great contemporary art).

? ?

Want to expand things? There’s the option of an additional fourth bedroom, which can fit up to three double beds (if team members are up for sharing).

? ?

Fully-equipped kitchen, plus Big Egg BBQ in the outdoors space. Pick up food from the estate farm shop (one of the best in the UK).

? ?

You can either drive or get the train to Chester station (two hours from Euston), and get a ten minute taxi from there.

? ?

Pet friendly.

The Location

? ?

Hawarden, Flintshire. A short drive from Chester (on the Welsh side of the border). Beautiful countryside on a buzzing, creative, estate.

? ?

A brilliant location for spending time together, surrounded by great walks and outdoor spaces (the private lake is an Ashore favourite).

? ?

For team dinners, we recommend the Glynne Arms, a great nearby pub. For cooking together, there’s either the farm shop or the nearby supermarket in Chester.

? ?

For a half-day of inspiration, there’s only one game in town: a tour of the UK’s only prime ministerial library (William Gladstone’s), with over 20,000 books.

? ?

Experiences available on-site include wild swimming, yoga, and foraging. Off-site, walks up Moel Famau (555m), or along nearby Talacre beach are great options.
