The Need to Know

The Need to Know

? ?

Built in the 16th century, these two Tudor manors would, then, have been a hive of work and activity. We’re bringing it back to its original purpose.

? ?

Eight bedrooms, multiple spaces to gather together (older houses are always brilliant for these), and a great courtyard garden.

? ?

Well-equipped kitchen with range cooker, and everything else you could want. You’re close to Portishead high street, with lots of options to pick up food, or a private chef available on request.

? ?

From nine credits or £1755, per night.

? ?

Drive, or get the train to Bristol and taxi it. Just 20 minutes from Bristol itself, for all our Ashore teams based there.

? ?

Pet friendly.

The Location

? ?

Portishead, Somerset. Marina town with some great views over the Severn Estuary. Lots of boats, which are strangely hypnotic to watch.

? ?

Some great restaurants nearby for a team dinner - Hall & Woodhouse (close-by), or the Black Horse pub (a little farther afield) are Ashore team favourites.

? ?

The Marina is a great spot for walks and talks, or, for something a bit longer, the coastal path to Clevedon and back is great.

? ?

For a half-day of inspiration, head over to Bristol. SS Great Britain, Clifton Suspension Bridge, Bristol Cathedral. You know the drill.
