Hawarden
Private estate just inside North Wales, with the ultimate creative pedigree. Perfect for teams to come together and do their most important thinking.
Communal workspace: there's a large communal space in the estate castle itself - with everything you need to collaborate, including flipchart, HD screens, an Apple TV, and a Poly Studio R30 video bar.
Breakout areas: lots of great spaces to gather together and think throughout the estate, particularly outdoors. A larger space to gather (in the old walled garden) available on request as well.
Individual workspaces: two, located in two separate locations on the estate. Both with Apple Studio Displays, Aeron chairs, and our signature Pegg desks.
Wifi speed: 129mbps download, 62mbps upload.
Truly historic estate on the Welsh borders. The ideal location for big moments in the life of a company.
This hub consists of three locations: a five bedroom apartment in the castle itself; a four bedroom Georgian house next door; and a one bedroom cabin nearby. Additional spaces available upon request.
Set up for everything you need to get together and build. Multiple Ashore workspaces, an amazing space to collaborate, and brilliant connectivity throughout.
All the food you need provided upon request. Even better, there’s a pub and farm shop literally on-site.
You can either drive or get the train to Chester station (two hours from Euston), and get a ten minute taxi from there.
Pet-friendly.
Hawarden, Flintshire. A short drive from Chester (on the Welsh side of the border). One of the UK’s great private estates.
A brilliant location for spending time together, surrounded by great walks, and places to spend time together outdoors. We recommend either the walled garden or private lake.
For a half-day of inspiration, there’s only one game in town: a tour of the UK’s only prime ministerial library (William Gladstone’s), with over 20,000 books.
For team dinners, we definitely recommend the incredible pub that sits on the estate and is open all evenings. There’s also a pizza oven, barbeque, and fire pit too.
Experiences available on-site include wild swimming, yoga, and foraging. Off-site, walks up Moel Famau (555m), or along nearby Talacre beach are great options.
